Festival of the Nations (FOTN) is a non-profit organization and an affiliate of Bethel World Outreach Church with the purpose of coordinating international community events that develops relationships with all nations.
The purpose of Festival of the Nations is to coordinate international community events that develop relationships with all nations. Our mission is to encourage unity, educate, and allow people to develop a better understanding of global community, history, and culture, while preserving heritage and well being.
In 2004, founders Jonathan Camcam and Rice Broocks recognized a need within the rapidly growing and changing Nashville community. The population was becoming more diversified and people were in need of ways to understand and appreciate each other’s differences. We began building FOTN from the ground up to provide an avenue for different cultures to educate and share their traditions through music, dance, activities, food, and crafts. We believe that unity within cultural diversity brings growth in the city and enhances the way of living. We stand firm on our slogan “Uniting a City to Unite the World.”
The new Executive Director, Jerry Turney, took the lead in 2012 to continue to build upon the foundations that were laid uniting the International Community. His vital experience working with students in elementary, middle and high schools along with the University campuses brings an important element to educating and uniting the youth of the Nations.
Festival of the Nations continues to host numerous annual International events across the region that provide a spectacular interaction of our unique diversity and an exciting awareness and education of who we are as a Greater Nashville people living in a global community.
